TIMO SHAW APPOINTED PRESIDENT OF COUNTRY WALKERS BY FIRST CHOICE HOLIDAYS, PLC
Waterbury, VT (May 2007) – First Choice Holidays, PLC has announced the appointment of Timo Shaw as the new President of Country Walkers, the world’s premier purveyor of small group walking adventures. A sales, marketing and management professional with two decades of experience throughout the travel industry, Shaw is responsible for all operations and developments at Country Walkers, which currently runs more than 70 walking, hiking, family and snowshoeing itineraries around the globe.

Shaw brings impressive experience in specialized travel to Country Walkers, most recently as Director of Sales and Business Development at Travcoa and TCS Expeditions, two First Choice sister brands located in Newport Beach, California and Seattle, Washington, respectively. Previously he held key management and executive positions at an array of travel industry notables, including Cruise West, Expedia, Air New Zealand and the New Zealand Tourism Board.
A native of New Zealand, Shaw has spent the past 12 years in America. He currently resides in Waterbury, Vermont, with his wife and son Melody and Alec Shaw.
